Autism
testing

We assess for Autism Spectrum Disorder among children (4 years or older), teens, and adults using the ADOS 2, ADI-R, and other clinically recommended measures depending on presenting concerns.

As with other Neurodevelopmental Disorders, we strive to understand multiple areas of functioning and rule-out or rule-in various reasons for symptoms. The ADI-R (Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised) is an ASD-specific standardized clinical interview conducted with a client’s caretakers, whereas the ADOS 2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition) is an ASD-specific standardized and observational assessment.

We have been trained for multiple years to assess Autism Spectrum Disorders across the lifespan, gender identities, racial/ethnic/cultural identities, and other identities.

Dyslexia
Testing

Dyslexia is a learning difference that affects how people process written language. It can make reading, writing, and spelling challenging, even though it doesn’t impact intelligence. Many people with dyslexia are bright and capable but struggle with traditional learning methods. Early detection and support are key to helping dyslexic individuals succeed in school, work, and daily life.

Gifted
Testing

Gifted evaluations can help assess a person’s cognitive and IQ functioning and determine if gifted programming is recommended. In addition, gifted assessments can provide insight into how a child, teen, or adult learns and processes information.

Learning Disability
Testing

Learning disability evaluations for Specific Learning Disorders (previously referred to as Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, or Dyscalculia) are used to provide evidence of a Specific Learning Disorder as well as to identify cognitive and academic strengths and weaknesses. Consistent with the latest empirical research, we strive to use assessments measuring cognitive processing correlates associated with academic deficits. We also strive to identify statistically significant personal and general weaknesses and strengths, separating us from other providers.

Neuropsychological Testing

Neuropsychological evaluations, including memory, language, executive functioning, attention, visuospatial, and learning evaluations, can help answer questions about brain-related functioning. We seek to understand some of these areas of functioning to inform diagnostic impressions and recommendations.
